Engaged by VIS Construction in Cairns, we undertook the ambitious project of transforming the historic courthouse into a vibrant art gallery, expanding the esteemed Art Gallery of Cairns.
Commencing our endeavor in June 2020 and continuing through to the present, our dedicated team has been instrumental in various aspects of the renovation process, collaborating closely with the builder. Our contributions encompassed:
- Demolition
- Framing
- Insulation installation
- Assisting in maintaining safety standards, including covering penetrations and preparing for lead paint stripping while ensuring the preservation of heritage features.
Our commitment to quality craftsmanship and attention to detail has played a pivotal role in bringing this vision to life, contributing to the cultural enrichment of the Cairns community.
